Zhongshan's Nanlang recently launches over 100 culture and tourism activities, inviting tourists from the Greater Bay Area to enjoy the summer holiday and weekends at Cuiheng New District (Nanlang Sub-district).

From July 13 to 14, the 10th 10th Kite Tournament of Guangdong Province will be held in Nanlang, with nearly 100 athletes representing 16 teams from across 10 cities, including Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Zhongshan and Zhuhai, participating.

On July 20, the two-day Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Zhongshan Kite Culture Exchange Show will also be held. During the show, kite lovers will showcase their exquisite kites and exceptional skills, an exhibition will be held to introduce the history of Nanlang Pansha Kites, the unique characteristics of kites in different regions and kite-making techniques, and, in addition, an interesting luminous kite show will take place.

From July 13 to 21, the cultural creative and food fair and the Zhongshan Gifts trade fair will both open, featuring Chinese and Cantonese fashion products, creative intangible cultural heritage products, industrial gifts, specialty food, study tours, games, and the Cantonese Cuisine Chef-themed food fair.

On July 20, Nanlang will host the 2024 Summer Rice Field Concert, joined by popular bands and singers, music groups and country singers.

On August 3, the Guangdong Country Singer Competition (Zhongshan Division) will open with the first audition. The stage will be set in the beautiful countryside to scout for music talent.
