Yang Boju, who is keenly interested in native culture, has been dedicated to collecting, organizing and creating Xiaolan native culture. Before publishing Stories about Xiaolan Dialect, he has already published three books about Xiaolan local culture at his own expense.
Mr. Yang, a native Xiaolan people, had been answering phone calls from his friends yesterday afternoon, hearing their orders or order-expansion for his new work Stories about Xiaolan Dialect. Presenting the local customs and practices of Xiaolan in the past 60 years, the book is composed of 110,000 words in 67 articles and covers near one hundred stories about Xiaolan folk adagesand two-part allegorical sayings.
