Zhongshan has become the only one in Guangdong Province on the city list announced by National Development and Reform Commission on January 3 for the service industry reform during the “13th Five-Year Plan” period.

The new-round reform of the state will focus on the tough issues that constrain the development of the service industry. It aims to explore new effective modes to develop a high-quality service industry and offer duplicable experience for other cities. A deal of progress has been made in Zhongshan in the service industry in recent years. Zhongshan will focus on the tough constraints and improve the administrative mechanism and policy support in hopes of a sound development of the service industry.
