With Gaokao coming to a conclusion, another enrollment season is on hand. University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, Zhongshan Institute is expected to enroll 5000 students, including 500 Zhongshan residents this year. To encourage students to study at key university, a project called 2+2 Joint Education Scheme is to be launched. Students joining the scheme will spend the first two years at Zhongshan Institute and go on to study for another two years at University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, a university among the list of Key Universities in both the National Projects 985 and 211 and nationally famous for its majors like electronic science & technology and information & communication engineering.
