Good news is heard recently from a Guangdong provincial Chinese teaching contest. Lin Xia, a teacher at Zhongshan Torch Development Zone Polytechnic School, won the first prize and entered the national contest.

It is learned that the contest has over 100 teachers from all over Guangdong Province. The provincial contest has 6 first prizes. 13 second prizes, and 18 third prizes. Contestants form Zhongshan won one first prize, three second prizes, and one third prize. The five teachers are from Gangkou Polytechnic School, Nanlang Polytechnic School, Zhongshan No. 1 Secondary Vocational School, and Shaxi Polytechnic School.
