The field base of South China Agricultural University located in Yuzhou Village of Tanzhou Town covers nearly 5 hectares and plant hydroponic vegetables. Its ecommerce business receives hundreds of orders including some family orders. It helps families get vegetables from the planting field without any intermediate dealers. The base produces tens of kinds of vegetables free from acid rain and PM2.5. Before delivery vegetables will be put in a vacuum cooling room to help maintain fresh during delivery. The base plans to further its business by ecommerce and the Internet.
