In her 20 year’s teaching career, Deng Huiying insists that good habits benefit one’s life. Therefore, she established a Moral Bank where students can deposit their Moral Credits. She encourages students to read more and witnesses a reading record of 19.5 books per student in her class. The pupils join the reading club on the weekend in all weathers and share the books they read. Reading bonds the teacher, students and their parents and helps enlighten themselves in discovering life and thinking problems. 860 books are read by 44 students in half a year, which quadruples the national per capita reading amount. She also witnesses a 100% qualified rate of graduation proficiency test in her class with 28 students obtaining over 90 points.
