Zhu Bohui, student in Minzhong Central Primary School, waltzed off with the first prize in the recently-concluded 4th Teenager Model Aircraft and Ship Contest in Zhongshan. One of the youngest winners of the contest, Zhu began his love affair with model boats and planes since he joined the interest group when he was a first grader of the school.

Zhu's story is a miniature of the efforts Minzhong town put into developing scientific education for teenagers in recent years. To boost their interest in science and technology, there is an annual scientific festival held for teenagers in Minzhong Town.
