The Second Litchi Festival was hosted in the Southern District on the morning of June 25. More than 500 children and parents from one hundred families went to Caobian Village for the activity. They visited the local scenic spots characterized by the culture of overseas Chinese hometown and tasted fresh litchi. During the activity, participants were taught to identify litchi species, savor litchi liquor, litchi honey and litchi tea. They also tasted the sweeties made of fresh litchi.

As one of the special public interest events in the Southern District, this festival aims to encourage the local people to involve in public interest activities through tasting litchi and sightseeing.
