After more than two months of preparation, 102 junior and senior high schools in Zhongshan finally welcomed the first batch of grade three students back to school on April 27.
More than 50,000 graduating middle school students in Zhongshan will return to school in batches and at different times starting from the day. The specific arrangements will be made by each school. Only students with health cards, Guangdong Health Codes (Green Code) and negative nucleic acid test results can return to school.
On April 26, to help students return to school smoothly and reduce gathering size, many schools asked parents to deliver children's luggages to the school first. Staff and dorm supervisors of many schools, including Sun Yat-sen Memorial Secondary School, No.1 Middle School of Zhongshan and Zhongshan Experimental Primary School, have voluntarily assisted parents in bringing luggage into the dormitory.
In order to welcome the students back to school, on the afternoon of April 26, the teaching staff of No.1 Middle School of Zhongshan were making final preparations. The school used warning tape to divide the space outside the school gate into areas such as a buffer area for parents to pick up and drop off students, and a waiting area for students to enter the school.
According to its arrangement, more than 800 grade three students from 16 classes in the junior section of No.1 Middle School of Zhongshan will return to school in batches from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm on April 27. In the afternoon, the school will also conduct practical exercises during the break in different batches, so as to familiarize students with the campus life under the epidemic situation.
