Guangdong Agile Foundation on November 5 donated 40 million yuan to support the expansion and educational development of Yagang Primary School in Sanxiang Town, Zhongshan City. Some 30 million yuan will be used for the school expansion, and 10 million yuan will be used to set up the "Chen Geping Education Development Foundation".

Founded by the village in 1927 and rebuilt in 1979 with the help of compatriots from Hong Kong and Macao and fellow villagers, Yagang Primary School merged with Quanyan Primary School in 2003 and, currently, possesses 19 classes and 930 students.

In recent years, the government of Sanxiang launched an expansion project for Yagang Primary School, which has been included into the town's top 10 livelihood projects this year. The expansion project is expected to be fully completed in June 2021. The new Yagang Primary School will accommodate 36 teaching classes.

The Chen's brothers of the Agile Group and their father, Mr Chen Geping, were all born and raised in Yagang Village. Besides, they all graduated from Yagang Primary School. It is hoped that this donation will further improve the conditions and the teaching level of Yagang Primary School and promote long-term development of education in their hometown.

Agile Group has always been public-spirited and concerned about the town. So far, its donations for Sanxiang Town has reached 220 million yuan.
