The 2021 points-based admission application for migrant workers in Zhongshan opened on March 4th and will last until April 30. Parents can visit various acceptance windows in towns and sub-districts where they work or in towns and sub-districts where their or their spouses' houses are located to submit applications.

In 2021, Zhongshan will continue to provide enrollment in public primary schools for school-age children of migrant workers in accordance with the points-based admission system. Migrant workers who meet all of the following requirements can apply for points-based admission: those without Zhongshan household registration but with stable jobs in Zhongshan; those with more than 30 points; those who have applied for the "Guangdong Province Residence Permit" (including residence registration) or "Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Residence Permit" in Zhongshan; those who have paid social insurance in Zhongshan last month (if working in Zhongshan, the applicants can pay social insurance at their company's headquarters), with social insurance paid for three months or more.
