The 4-day 2022 UCI Track Cycling Nations Cup Columbia station opened on July 8. Four team events were held on that day, including men's and women's team pursuit and team race. The Chinese team sent athletes to participate in all four events, and won three gold medals and one silver medal.

Huang Zhilin, an athlete from Zhongshan Sports School, participated in the women's team pursuit on behalf of Team China, and the Chinese team won the championship by defeating New Zealand in 4 minutes 22.516 seconds.

Huang Zhilin, a native of Zhongshan's Gangkou Town, joined the cycling team of Zhongshan Sports School from Danan Middle School in Gangkou Town in 2010 and was taught by coach Liu Yan. She was then sent to Guangdong provincial team in 2017 and selected to the national training team in 2021.
