The groundbreaking ceremony of the Zhongshan Fire Rescue Training Base was held in South District on June 15.

With a land area of 186 mu and a total building area of 36,173 square meters, the training base will include a 5-story teaching building, a 6-story living and auxiliary building, a 5-story training building, a 72-meter-high comprehensive training building, as well as 23 facilities for smoke & heat training, combustion training, and hazardous chemical tanker leakage accident disposal training.
