The Zhongshan Institute of Changchun University of Science and Technology (CUST) held the 2023 graduation ceremony on June 25 at the Administrative Committee of Torch Development Zone for 85 master's students and 9 doctoral students. They were the second batch of graduates from the Zhongshan Institute of CUST.
"Zhongshan with complete industrial support and outstanding environment suits my career development well," says Zhang Tianxiang, who studied optoelectronic engineering at the institute and will stay after graduation. He currently works on chip design.
Zhang Shengsui also chooses to stay. After graduation, he will work in the laser laboratory of the institute. He says Zhongshan is an innovative city suitable for living and working. But what attracts him most is the laboratory of the Zhongshan Institute of CUST located in the ZOS-Park, which has complete equipment, favorable environment and tremendous overall research strength that can well meet his research needs.
The Zhongshan Institute of CUST is the first joint education and training base for master's and doctoral students introduced into Zhongshan. There are currently 531 registered students at the institute, and the new campus will be put into use in August 2024.
