The second phase of Huang Miaozi Art Museum was completed and opened to the public recently.
It is the first art museum built in a school in Zhongshan. Located on the first floor of the teaching building of Yanzhou High School of Zhongshan, the museum serves as an art education facility for teachers and students of the school, as well as a public outreach center for art education.
Zhou Jiangang, principal of Yanzhou High School of Zhongshan, and Huang Yanzeng, former chairman of Zhongshan Calligraphers Association, serve as the curator and honorary curator of the museum respectively.
Currently, the museum holds a collection of 71 art works created by Huang Miaozi, including 31 paintings and 40 calligraphy works.
In the future, the Huang Miaozi Art Museum will organize various art exhibitions and lectures, inviting renowned artists to share their experiences, on a regular basis.
