The FIE Epee Junior World Cup kicked off in Hong Kong, China on December 1. Two fencers from Zhongshan, Peng Shengwei and Su Zhiwei, participated in the men's epee individual and team events representing China.

Finally, Peng Shengwei won the bronze medal in the men's epee individual event and, together with Su Zhiwei, won the gold medal in the team event for China.

Peng, born in 2006, was selected to the provincial team in 2022 and is currently training with the national team. Su, born in 2005, is one of the teammates of Peng Shengwei, and he was selected to the provincial team in 2021.
