In 2025, Zhongshan plans to renovate or expand 5 public kindergartens, with 1,590 more vacancies, and to renovate or expand 8 public primary and secondary schools, with 9,000 more vacancies. Efforts would be made to cope with school vacancy shortage through renovating or expanding schools, optimizing the education structure, and improving infrastructure.
