With sound foundation, baseball is popular in the primary and middle schools in Dongsheng. Presently, baseball echelon led by Dongsheng Middle School promotes primary and junior middle schools to launch baseball sport has taken shape, and is gradually expanding to most schools in the town.

This year, Dongsheng plans to introduce 2~3 professional baseball teachers, sign Major League Baseball (MLB) Baseball Development Center Construction Cooperation Frame Agreement, and propose to establish MLB’s second Baseball Development Center in China.
