The 17th China Adolescent Robotics Contest will be held in Zhongshan Experimental Middle School
The 16th China Adolescent Robotics Contest closed on Jul. 28 in Yanqihu Campus of University of Chinese Academy of Sciences. Zhongshan Deputy Mayor Wu Yuexia took over the flag of the contest after the closing ceremony, which indicates that Zhongshan will hold the 17th China Adolescent Robotics Contest. Zhongshan is the first district-level city in Guangdong Province and the second in China to hold the contest. The contest will be held in Zhongshan Experimental Middle School.

Jointly promoted by Zhongshan Association of Science and Technology, Zhongshan Bureau of Education and Sports, and Zhongshan Youth League, adolescent technology innovation activities are very popular in Zhongshan in recent years. According to a related official of Zhongshan Association of Science and Technology, adolescent robotics in Zhongshan ranked the top in Guangdong Province and in district-level cities in China in terms of contest scale and score. Zhongshan held the 13th Guangdong Provincial Adolescent Robotics Contest in 2013. In view of Zhongshan's experience in organizing adolescent robotics contest, the 17th China Adolescent Robotics Contest will be held in Zhongshan.
