With a theme on “Coming back to beauty of village and carry forward the Chinese innovation”, the first round of the 4th “the most beautiful villages in China” selection has come to an end recently and Guzhen was successfully selected among the 100 villages. The second round will be initiated from 18th October and the final 30 villages will be honored “the most beautiful in China in 2016” with their characteristic environment, deep cultural deposits and inheritance significance. 

Guzhen is not only the “lighting town in China”, but also full of cultural deposits, as the 1st Lighting Culture Festival is held in 2015. The selection of “the most beautiful village in China” this year focuses on “innovation” most and hopes to find out the most representative villages with people all over the country in order to better promote innovative development of the activity and encourage industrial transformation through media alliance.
