The long-awaited Kyung-Wha Chung violin concert is to hit the stage of Zhongshan Cultural and Artistic Center at 20:00 on Dec.22. Recognized through the world as one of the finest violinists of her generation, Chung is to make headlines whenever she holds a concert or releases a record.

Chung shot to worldwide fame after releasing her debut work Decca, a recording of Tchaikovsky and Sibelius concertos, in 1970, and in the following years she became known as the "queen of violin" of modern times. Chung’s performance is laden with emotions, sometimes as ebullient and straightforward as a man and sometimes as subtle and sentimental as a woman.
