Minzhong Town has enhanced its investment into rural fitness facilities in recent years. School playgrounds are included in the campaign and equipped with fitness and audio facilities. An increasing number of villagers joined to enjoy the music and entertainment.

Dancing teachers are hired to teach dances of this kind and all villages are asked to send representatives who will teach others when they go back. Square dancing is popular, especially in Xinping Village where there are two regular teams of nearly 100 people each, eager to attend square dancing following the moves of square teachers.
