COVID-19 positive cases were reported in Wuhua County, Meizhou City, Guangdong Province and Ningming County, Chongzuo City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region on January 16 respectively.

The Zhongshan Center for Disease Control and Prevention reminds that:

People coming (returning) to Zhongshan from Meizhou since January 11 and from Chongzuo since January 2, and those who have a RED or YELLOW 'Yue Kang Code' (粤康码), need to report to their communities (villages), employers and the hotels they stay in immediately and cooperate with nucleic acid testing and other health management measures. People who have come or returned to Guangdong from other provinces can also report through 'Yue Sheng Shi' (粤省事) WeChat applet.
