On December 11, Zhongshan City People's Hospital (ZSPH) unveiled its Hospital Preparation Center on the first floor of the Qiaoshanghui Building. A resident surnamed Ouyang took her mother to the ophthalmology clinic for pre-admission examination and went through the formalities.

ZSPH becomes the first in Zhongshan to open a hospital preparation center, which integrates medical and technological resources. Almost all pre-admission examinations and inspections can be completed within a 100 meter circle, optimizing the hospitalization process and improving patients' medical experience.

The center has five service windows and five consulting rooms, including 1 payment counter, 2 admission registration windows, 2 blood drawing windows, 2 anesthesia clinics, 1 ECG examination room and 2 B-mode ultrasonography clinics.

The hospital preparation center can receive about 120 patients every day. After 50 days of trial run, it has received nearly 600 patients, whose average stay has been shortened by 1-2 days.
