Zhongshan this year has already completed the renovation of 33 Xiangshan New Street Markets. At present, another 9 of these markets are under renovation,  and are expected to open by the end of this month, making the total number to 73.

Stepping into the Xijia Market in Gangkou Town, the unified logo of Xiangshan New Street Market can be seen everywhere. The ground is clean, the stalls are tidy, and there are many small convenience stores.

In addition to environment improvement, Xiangshan New Street Markets have newly set up convenient service areas. For example, Shenwan Market in Banfu Town, Caiding Changjiang Market in East District and Suixi Market in Nantou Town now have baby care rooms and reading rooms.

With the Xiangshan Cloud Street Market platform, Xiangshan New Street Markets also provide online trading channels for merchants and shopping experience without leaving home for consumers. Since its launch in April this year, the Xiangshan Cloud Street Market platform has seen transactions completed worth 14.8988 million yuan.
