A special press conference on the high-quality development of real estate was held at the Zhongshan Online Press Conference Hall on December 18. Spokespersons of the housing, natural resources departments, Zhongshan Branch of the People's Bank of China, and the municipal housing provident fund center, gave explanations on the new preferential policy.

To facilitate overseas Chinese and fellow countrymen to purchase houses and settle down in Zhongshan, two preferential measures will be rolled out from December 25, 2024 to February 12, 2025.

First, a total of 4,000 house purchase coupons will be issued. Potential buyers can claim the coupons, 7,000 yuan or 13,000 yuan, through the "中山房协" Wechat applet. The validity period is from December 23, 2024 to January 3, 2025. Limited quantity. First come first served.

Second, house buyers will be given annual cards for the unlimited ferry service between Zhongshan and the China Ferry Terminal in Hong Kong. Overseas Chinese and fellow countrymen who buy a house with an area of less than 100 square meters in designated residential complexes will be given a "one-year annual card"; those who buy a house with an area of 100-144 square meters will be given a "two-year annual card"; and those who buy a house with an area of over 144 square meters will be given a "three-year annual card".

A special service station for overseas Chinese and fellow countrymen is set up at the arrival hall on the first floor of Zhongshan Passenger Port, offering free tea and rest service, as well as information and consultation services on sightseeing, living and housing in Zhongshan.
