At 6 am on December 30, the Zhongshan No.2 Bridge opened for trial operation.

The overhaul and reinforcement of the bridge was launched on March 20, including addressing hidden dangers in the approach bridges and the main bridge arch ribs, reinforcing the abutment, installing new steel anchor boxes, full bridge renovation, and bridge deck pavement.

Bus lines 024, 048, B2, K06 and K19 also resumed operations through the bridge on the same day.
